With our two older children, we used the Graco booster seats with the back on them. While the price on them was right, the fabric was a bit scratchy and the backs came off the seat real easily when moving it around from vehicle to vehicle.

When I first opened the box, I was a bit confused at all the adjustment points on the seat and how they worked. A quick glance in the manual and I was ready to place it in the minivan.

We just got this seat for my 4 yo step son who weighs 60 lbs. He LOVES this seat, especially the cupholders. He says it has a "great laying spot" so he can sleep. It is durable and sturdy so not the lighetest booster but not to heavy to move from car to car. Actually I like that it is heavier because it is more durable. All the other boosters we looked at were practically falling apart or so thin it didn't look like enough protection. The head wings are great, soft and comfy, and perfect size. The belt positioners keep the belt situated perfectly on him. So easy to use and understand. I love that it folds since we only have him part time. This company had a bad rep with their older model but they listened to the complaints and really changed it on this one. Very durable and sturdy. It doesn't change to a backless booster but I like it more because of this, no more fighting with the back of the seat. My ss can ride in this up to 100 lbs.
